GCSE results day is here – and teenagers from across the country will be nervously finding out how they did in their exams. While schools will be made aware of the results on Wednesday, students won't be able to know their fates until 8am on Thursday morning.
Grades are ranked from the highest score of one to the lowest score of nine. Nine is equivalent to an A*, which tends to be getting around 90% of the examinations correct. Meanwhile, scoring a one equates to a G grade.
So how would you fare if you had to sit one of the exams in 2025? Now, there's a quick way to find out if you're smarter than a British teenager! That's because Tudor House has created a fun 14-question quiz that puts your science, maths, literacy and problem solving skills to the test.

That sounds easy enough – but you'll require well-rounded knowledge to get them all correct. So grab. sheet of paper, a pen and prepare to give it your all.

If you got more than 12 questions correct, you can consider yourself Grade 9 standard. Anything above 10 is considered to be a good result too, so give yourself a pat on the back if you achieved that!
Anything below 50% correct tends to be deemed a fail – so you might need to swat up on your general knowledge if you fall short.
